3 application possibilities with only 1 jaw

Application as stepped grip jaw
Length of the step for the workpiece support is notably longer than for the standard stepped grip jaws. The length of the contact face is 6.5 mm instead of 2.5 mm. Thus the support for the workpiece is sufficiently large, even for workpieces with imprecise edges, for example on rolled blank material or castings.

Application as stepped grip jaw with integrated lateral stop

  • With transverse t-slot for the mounting of the positioning strip
  • When suitably milled the positioning strip may be used as an integrated lateral stop
  • Using two threaded pins M8 the positioning strip can be clamped in the t-slot
  • Dimension zero «0» is marked in the centre of the stepped jaws
  • Division by lines every 2 mm to facilitate positioning
  • The positioning strips are produced from cementation steel 1.7131 and can be hardened by the customer if necessary

Application with various clamping depths
For example, integrate the stepped grip jaw 8 mm into the positioning strip and remove 4 mm of the upper side by milling. In this way a grip jaw with only 4 mm of clamping depth is produced.
