Electric clamping technology, electronic clamping systems electric clamps

The new mechatronic clamping system for electric clamping technology was developed as a universally applicable large-stroke clamp and is characterized by a variety of practical functions that make it future-proof. Particularly noteworthy are the infinitely programmable clamping stroke of 120 mm with a wide clamping range of 5 to 420 mm (other lengths available on request), the application-specific programmable and monitored clamping force, the self-locking function and the IO-Link interface for networked communication.

With a jaw width of 125 mm and excellent accessibility thanks to high jaws, the grepos-5X-E is perfect for flexible single part and series production, especially for 5-axis complete and simultaneous machining. The complete sealing and encapsulation as well as the monitoring of the jaw position and the clamping force of up to 40 kN (or a total clamping force of 80 kN) ensure a high level of process reliability in all conceivable clamping situations. The 100% electrical function also forms a central element for end-to-end automation in the production environment.
