VERO-S tombstones in hybridtechnology have a mineral casting core with a steel coating and combine the advantages of both materials. The tombstones have been pre-prepared with the VERO-S NSE-T3 138-V1 quick-change pallet modules. This makes it possible to equip the clamping towers with clamping devices from the huge modular SCHUNK and GRESSEL system in a very short time, with the positive effect that the set-up times are drastically reduced while the machine running time is increased at the same time.
Tombstones in hybridtechnology Excellent features of mineral casting are the low weight of the material and above all the excellent vibration damping. The lighter material means that the clamping towers have a lower weight and significantly heavier workpieces can be clamped. This means that the maximum load capacity of modern table designs is optimally utilized. Much heavier workpieces can be clamped and therefore the maximum loading capacity of the modern table designs can be fully exploited. The excellent damping properties for example provide significant economic advantages and allow higher cutting speeds with a simultaneous low tool wear and best surface quality.
