VERO-S clamping tombstone in hybrid technology consist of a mineral casting core with a steel shell and combine the advantages of both materials. The clamping tombstone are already prepared with the VERO-S NSE-T3 138-V1 zero-point clamping modules. This makes it possible to equip the clamping towers with clamping devices from the huge modular SCHUNK and GRESSEL construction kit within a very short time, which has the positive effect of drastically reducing set-up times while at the same time increasing the machine running time.
Tombstones in hybridtechnology Excellent features of mineral casting are the low weight of the material and above all the excellent vibration damping. The lighter material means that the clamping towers have a lower weight and significantly heavier workpieces can be clamped. This means that the maximum load capacity of modern table designs is optimally utilized. Much heavier workpieces can be clamped and therefore the maximum loading capacity of the modern table designs can be fully exploited. The excellent damping properties for example provide significant economic advantages and allow higher cutting speeds with a simultaneous low tool wear and best surface quality.
Hybrid clamping tombstone make optimum use of the vertical surface of your CNC machine. This allows you to create significantly more clamping positions on the same footprint – perfect for series production with a large number of parts. The combination of compact design, modular clamping surface and individual equipping makes them a real efficiency booster in your production.
