A look back at AMB 2026

Strong performance – from classic clamping technology to automation

The AMB 2026 in Stuttgart was a great success for GRESSEL. Over five busy days at the trade fair, we were able to hold numerous technical discussions, make new contacts and strengthen existing partnerships.

What is particularly pleasing is the high level of interest in our solutions – ranging from traditional machine vices to modern automation systems.

Our booth offered a comprehensive insight into the world of clamping technology and automation. The feedback from our visitors was clear: our innovations precisely meet the need for greater efficiency, longer spindle running times and reduced workpiece costs.

Product highlights at the AMB

The focus was on our new modular clamping concept, the XL construction kit. We also showcased traditional clamping solutions, the ‘gredoc’ and ‘gre4doc’ zero-point clamping systems, and our automation solutions.

We presented the vise automation in collaboration with our partner wbt automation, and we showcased the R-C2 workpiece automation together with PROMOT Automation.

The new XL construction kit

At the AMB, we unveiled our latest product: the XL construction kit. This modular clamping concept allows workpieces of various shapes and sizes to be clamped flexibly and with short set-up times.

The modules are based on a rail system and can be positioned continuously. This means that the XL construction kit offers maximum flexibility when clamping. Furthermore, the modules are designed to accommodate GRESSEL’s standard workpiece clamping systems.

Vise automation – with wbt automation

Our vise automation system also attracted a great deal of interest once again at the AMB. It offers a cost-effective, reliable and flexible introduction to automation.

In this system, the vises are stored in a magazine and are automatically loaded into and removed from the machine by a robot. This significantly reduces set-up times whilst keeping investment costs low.

Workpiece Automation R-C2 – with PROMOT Automation

The R-C2 system enables fully automatic machining of all six sides of a workpiece. The workpieces stored in the magazine are clamped using the R-C2 and then machined fully automatically, including changeovers.

For your production, this means: maximum machine uptime, predictable processes and significantly reduced unit costs thanks to savings in set-up times.
